Whats New

November 10, 2014: A major update of lots of entries yesterday and today as the campaign takes shape. I have decided to use full fledged D&D 5E but with a few things like Feats and certain classes removed. The plan remains to send invites to players in January and to have six or so ready to begin the first adventure by the end of the month. I am also thinking that Friday or Saturday nights may work best either every week or every other week. We will see what works for everyone.

Outside of Obsidian Portal, I have the main text for the first set of possible adventures. I say “possible” because while there is a major theme to the first tier of play, there is a matrix of possible adventures. I want the players to have some say in how the campaign evolves but also want some guardrails to keep them on the path to the destiny of The Lonely Coast. Writing the hooks, links and adventures has been fun. It is really getting me excited to play. I do still need to finish the maps and pick icons for Roll20 but have completed the set up for the beginning encounter. Right to combat as soon as we all log in!
